The one that matters
What counts as a space?
A space is one continuous walk-through. That is the whole rule, and it is why somewhere bigger costs more than somewhere smaller without anybody measuring a square foot.
- A house
- Usually one space. You walk in the front door and out the back without stopping — that is one continuous capture and one fee.
- A building with floors
- Usually one per floor. You cannot walk a staircase and keep the geometry solving cleanly, so each floor is its own capture.
- A block with separate units
- One per unit. They are separate spaces that happen to share an address, and each gets its own tour and its own link.
- A venue, a site, a warehouse
- Depends on whether one continuous walk covers it. If it does, it is one. We tell you which before anything is generated, never after.
Why not by the square foot
Because we would be pricing something we cannot see. What a reconstruction actually costs tracks the length of the walk, and the walk is the thing we receive — floor area is only ever what somebody typed into a form. Pricing by the minute would be worse again: it would charge you for following our own advice to go slowly.
Before you ask
Three things we haven't decided.
A pricing page is the worst place to invent an answer, because you would act on it. So here is what is still open, said plainly.
- How long a space takes
- We have not measured it across enough real captures to stand behind a number. It is a build, not a render. We would rather tell you the honest figure for your space than a marketing one.
- Cancellation terms
- Not written yet. What we can say is what the subscription does: hosting follows it, and the downloaded file does not — that copy is yours regardless.
- Exactly what tax you pay
- Both figures are quoted plus tax. The rate depends on your province and on whether you are exporting, which is a question for an accountant rather than a pricing page.
