Walkd.

For residential agents

You’ve walked it. They haven’t.

You already walk every house you list. Walk it once more, slowly, and it becomes something a buyer can walk too — from a phone, at eleven at night, from another state. One video. No rig, no crew, nobody coming out.

I’m Brenden. Christian and I have been building this, and you’re who I wanted to show it to first.

How it works

Three steps, and the photographer is not one of them.

  1. A person drawn as voxel blocks walking through a cutaway room, holding up a phone.
    01

    You walk it

One continuous take on the phone already in your pocket, at half your normal pace, into every room. About ninety seconds for a house. No tripod, no lens, no 360 camera, and nobody coming out to meet you.

  2. A room drawn as voxel blocks, its walls still forming from cubes falling into place.
    02

    It becomes a space

Your video is turned into the room itself. Not a slideshow of it, and not photo bubbles you click between. The actual room — built from your own footage, so what it shows is what was there.

  3. A laptop and a phone drawn as voxel blocks, with a chain of cubes arcing away from them.
    03

    You send the link

It opens in a browser on any phone or laptop. No app and no account for whoever you send it to — paste it wherever a link goes: a text, the listing email, your own site.

What it costs

Two numbers, and no contract.

$17.99
a month to use Walkd
$250
each time you turn a house into a tour

A bigger place is more than one space — each floor or unit you want walkable is its own walk. Tax on top, like everything else.

This is what it will cost when it opens. Nothing is charged today and we don't take a card — join the list and we'll come to you before anything is live.

Before you ask

What it is not.

  • It is not a measured survey.

I do not produce floor plans and nothing in a tour is a source of dimensions. If somebody needs square footage they can rely on, that is still a measurement and this does not replace one.

  • It shows the house as it is.

Nothing is staged, furnished or tidied. A room mid-move reconstructs as a room mid-move. That is deliberate — the tour is evidence, and evidence that has been dressed is worth nothing to the person relying on it.

Before you ask

And two more.

  • A room you did not walk into is not in it.

The tour only knows what the camera saw. A closed door is a closed door, so your walk decides what ends up in it.

  • And I am not open yet.

There is a waitlist rather than a checkout, and nothing is charged today. I would rather tell you that than take a card and have you wait.
